High-profile, community-backed rental housing
Some projects are quiet. This one made headlines. We faced two rounds of rejection at the Committee of Adjustment—but backing down is not in our DNA. At TLAB, we won approval for 11 large units, including two generous laneway suites. To give back to the beautiful community and have some fun, while it sat vacant, we turned the house into a temporary art gallery, Art on Barton, which drew thousands of visitors (including the Mayor!). Now it’s under construction—and soon, 11 new families will call this gem home.
